Church Activities
Running alongside our services, we have a wide range of activities that will both appeal to and involve members of our congregation and the wider community. Some of these are briefly listed below and some are listed in more detail in this Handbook. Leaflets about Church groups and Parish Centre activities can be found in Church and at the Parish Centre.

Music Ministry: There are great opportunities for boys, girls and adults to lead in services throughout the year. At our informal service, Tea and Toast, singing is accompanied by a lively worship band and St Mary’s Singers (a mixed choir) are regular performers within the church. Contact our Music Director, Peter Collins on 07976 722707 or Email: petercollins219@aol.com
Book Groups: Meet to discuss novels and devotional books.

Ecumenical Activity
St. Mary’s plays an active role in Churches Together in Burley and Menston. The Group seeks to oversee joint initiatives and worship of all denominations in the village, as well as providing a forum for the sharing of information and ideas.
Love Burley is a recently formed ecumenical group. It arranges social get-togethers for residents to celebrate seasonal festivities during the year. Personal invitations are sent to people who, for one reason or another, will welcome the opportunity to meet and share time with others. Transport is provided.
