Not just a bed shop

We now have a new emphasis on interiors, including mirrors, lighting, premium brand candles from The Harrogate Candle company and bedding and soft furnishings to complement the existing offering.

Our number one priority is to offer outstanding service levels. The quality of our product speaks for itself.  Somnus, Hypnos and Kaymed in particular are national quality brands that people know and trust and we aim to make the experience of choosing, buying and having that bed delivered the best that it can be.

Here at The Carriage, we will ensure that all our customers will get a good range of quality beds which will cover all budget levels. The bed showroom has been moved upstairs so that people can try the beds without feeling they are being watched from the street, ensuring that they have the time to consider all the options.  This is important when you are making this type of purchase.

Once a bed has been chosen and ordered the next step is ensuring that the bed gets delivered when convenient for the customer. We will always deliver the bed on a day and at a time to suit and not the other way round.  Delivery is free of charge (within the local area) and beds are assembled in the right room, not left in the hallway!  We will also arrange to take away the customers’ old bed and mattress should they need it.
