About Us
North Building was formed by David Norris in 2012 after 5 years as co director of Prime Renovation, a building company based in south west London. David has now brought his expertise of working in the demanding London market to Yorkshire.
David prides himself on the high quality of his company’s work and he personally oversees and works on all projects to ensure this continues. He has recruited a highly skilled team with the capability to carry out all aspects of a project no matter how big or small.

David Norris BEng Civil (Hons) –
While looking for engineering jobs and considering a full time career in the Marines he worked with several builders in Edinburgh, France and London, finding that he enjoyed this line of work and wanted to continue. David joined forces with Alex Ellvers, a good friend from school, to form Prime Renovation in London in 2007. In early 2012 David said farewell to Alex, the Royal Marines and the hustle and bustle of living in London and moved to Ilkley, West Yorkshire, where his wife gave birth to their twins Alexander and Eleanor. He formed North Building shortly afterwards. In early 2014 his second son Jack was born.
