Additional Activities

As well as all of the fun activities that are provided by our staff team at Burley Nursery School, our children also have the opportunity to take part in additional activities, all with no additional cost to parents.

Music, singing & movement

Jo Jingles brings fun and educational music, singing and movement classes right into Burley Nursery School. With the help of our Jo Jingles doll, experienced presenters from the UK’s most popular music and movement experience will help your baby or young child to engage their bodies and voices with melody and rhythm.

Learning French

From the age of three, children at Burley Nursery School have the opportunity to join a fortnightly French club, Le Club Français, which stimulates children’s natural enthusiasm for language and communication.

Outings

All of our children have the opportunity to enjoy seasonal walks around the village, with trips to the local park and nature reserve and duck pond there is always so for them to see!

As well as local trips, each year we have a special trip for the children who are leaving us to go to school, recent trips have included Heskeith Farm and the ES Donkey Sanctuary in Leeds where we visited our adopted donkey Billy!
