SR Kitchens & Bathrooms specialise in bespoke bathroom and kitchens, from design through to supply and installation. The company is owned and run by Managing Director, Scott Richmond, who has worked in a variety of trades related to home improvements before starting his own kitchen and bathroom solutions business.
Having left school at the age of sixteen, Scott’s first job was as a cabinet maker for a local joiner, where he spent 2 years. His next move saw Scott spend 8 years fabricating and installing double glazed windows and doors, including a 3-year period working for Kingfisher Windows, which entailed a lot of contracted works to Bradford City Council. Having then moved to Trinity Property Maintenance Scott spent 5 years subcontracting to Kirklees Council where he learnt many skills that would shape his future career, including gaining NVQ Level 2 qualifications in:
• Fitted Interiors
• Tiling
• Plumbing
Taking the decision to go out on his own, Scott set up SR Kitchens & Bathrooms in early 2019. In this short period of time the company has worked on an enviable portfolio of projects, which has seen it grow in both reputation and size. What was once Scott, a labourer and a van, is now 3 highly skilled kitchen and bathroom fitting teams.
Despite the rapid expansion of the company, Scott remains very much hands-on; overseeing and managing every project to ensure that the end result meets his own high standards.
